These covers make sheeting up silage clamps quick, clean, and easy, utilizing a tough interlocked knitted HDPE material.

The finely knitted mesh effectively prevents bird damage to the silage sheet and, when pulled down, stops birds from feeding on the silage face.

Why Our Protective Silage Covers Are Different

These covers are made from a robust, interlocked knitted textile (HDPE) that will not fray or ladder. They feature a rough and smooth side; when used with the rough side up, the covers grip securely, preventing them from slipping off the clamps.

For silage and field clamps with steep sides, we recommend using Gravel Bag Belts to securely fix the gravel bags in place.

During development, we tested various textiles and found that simple woven materials fray and disintegrate, leading to aerobic spoilage and poor quality silage.
